The US invasion of Middle Eastern countries is mainly believed to be done for oil. These invasions are a part of a broader plan. It is not for oil, not for peace, and not for humanitarian purposes.

The past country downfalls and the recent scenario of Iran are interconnected. The problem with the entire Middle East is not policies, sentiments, or resources; it is Israel that wants to shatter the Middle East, at least the neighboring nations. One explanation is to build a Greater Israel. Many people mistakenly think that Greater Israel is present Israel and Palestine. However, Ben Gurion in 1918 wrote in his book that greater Israel includes Gaza, the West Bank, the East Bank, Southern Syria, Southern Lebanon, and the Sinai Peninsula. Consequently, it has broken Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, and Iraq. Another explanation is that Israel wants meager neighbors, not bold ones with leaders like Gaddafi, Saddam, and Nasrallah, so it broke them apart. The only threat left is Iran. The recent killings of Iranian generals, scientists, and even people are a part of the collapsing Iran. The divide and conquer rule is prevailing.

The US narrative is to achieve peace in the Middle East, but its action is against this narrative. The US leaders since Jimmy Carter have proposed a two-state solution for Israel and Palestinian problem. However, what the US has done in the last two decades in the Middle East was just wars and military actions in the name of protecting human rights and the world from weapons of mass destruction. This is more than supporting greater Israel vision rather than peacemaking.

Jordan and Egypt who are economically weak countries. They receive significant aid from the US. For example, Egypt has received a total of $36 billion from 2001 to 2024, while Jordan has received $27 billion from 2001 to 2024. If these two stand up against Israel, the US gives them a memory of the aid it gives them. This is why Jordan and Egypt never act as bottlenecks for Israel, nor does Israel cause them any trouble. It appears that the entire foreign policy of the Western Hemisphere focus Israel. But why?

America follows Israel’s interests. This is due to the Israel lobby “The APIAC” in the US to back Israel unconditionally. Precisely, Israel always has US backing in whatever it does. This lobby is extremely effective and robust, so it will support Israel in all its endeavors. Even the US is willing to sacrifice its interests for Israel. We have further discussed this issue in our article “Unconditional Support”.

The current problem with Iran is not just the US and Israel; it is the political system. A survey conducted by Gamaan showed that the majority of Iranian wants democracy. The existing regime of Iran is less failed from internal reasons and more from external ones due to 45+ years of embargos which doomed its economy. Iran is not a disadvantaged country, nor are its people less hardworking. It has oil, which has the potential to change its fate, a manufacturing sector, and a self-sufficient defense sector.

Iranian thinks that changing the regime will be helpful, but who knows if the new regime relax or completely remove embargos. It is not the regime that is impeding the growth, but the embargoes. In an optimistic scenario, a test of Iranian regime can be done by removing embargos and see within a period of three or five years whether Iran’s fate change or not.

Every country has the right to protect itself with a strong military and nuclear program. When Israel implemented Iron Dome, no one opposed it, so why restrict Iran, because it is not in the best interest of Israel. Entities think Iran supply terrorist to the Middle East, but what about Israel’s acts of terrorism in Gaza and Palestine? The US intervention to impose embargoes due to Iran’s nuclear program provides evidence that Israel wants weak states around it. Those who are politically, socially, and economically weak.

The harsh reality is that when the US invade in any country, or Israel strikes any territory, it is for humanitarian purposes or to eliminate terrorists. However, when a country engages in a nuclear program, it is considered a threat to the region.

Whispers are US is now ready to initiate a war with Iran. The recent march of an armada, strike groups, USS Abraham Lincoln, USS Theodore Roosevelt, and an air defense system to Iran may be a problem. Strikes might occur on nuclear facilities of Iran and on its leaders. Trump has offered an option of negotiation to Iran, but might strike if talks fail. If Iran gives up its nuclear program, will America stay true to its words to lift embargos? Certainly not…

The US is ready to do all for its dearest ally. It has gone a long way for Israel and will definitely go further in the future.
